Arena Stage's new production of The Fantasticks, directed by rising American director Amanda Dehnert, who places the musical in the world of an abandoned amusement park, begins previews in Washington, DC.

Enter Laughing, a recent musical comedy hit for the York Theatre Company, is aiming for a Broadway bow in 2010-11, according to the New York Times. The show is a reworked version of the musical So Long, 174th Street.
