The Tony-nominated hit musical Rock of Ages welcomes Kate Rockwell (Bring It On: The Musical, Legally Blonde) to the role of Sherrie beginning Jan. 21 at the Helen Hayes Theatre.
Teresa Stanley (The Color Purple, national tour of Rock of Ages) also takes over the role of Justice, owner of the Sunset Strip’s Venus Club.
Ashley Spencer (Sherrie) and Michele Mais (Justice) played their final performances Jan. 20.
Kate Rockwell, recently seen as Skylar in Bring It On: The Musical, was a finalist on NBC’s "Grease: You're The One That I Want" before making her Broadway debut in Legally Blonde, followed by the 2009 Broadway revival of Hair. Teresa Stanley made her Broadway debut in the ensemble of A Color Purple, performed in the 30th anniversary tour of Ain't Misbehavin' and played the role of Justice in the first national tour of Rock of Ages.
