Ballroom with a Twist to Feature Chaplin, Hightower, Roberts, Hernandez and More; Eden Hosts

Barbara Eden, the "I Dream of Jeannie" actress who appeared in the all-female national tour of The Odd Couple, will host the new dance production Ballroom with a Twist, which will play the DuPont Theatre in Delaware Jan. 19-24, 2010.

Louis van Amstel will direct and choreograph "Dancing With the Stars" dancers Dmitry Chaplin, Chelsie Hightower, and the husband and wife team of Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya. The production will also feature an ensemble of 14 young dancers from "Dancing With the Stars," "So You Think You Can Dance" and "High School Musical."

"American Idol" alumni David Hernandez and Trenyce will provide the evenings vocals.

"This groundbreaking show," according to press notes, "pushes the boundaries of ballroom dance, infusing it with the energy and intensity of the latest 'hip-hop' styles. It is slated to be the only national tour in the 2009 post-DWTS season in which to see these wildly popular dancers triumphantly taking the stage to showcase their sultry moves."
