Hannah Waterman to Take Over in West End's Calendar Girls

Hannah Waterman, best known for playing Laura Dunn in the TV series "EastEnders" from 2000 to 2004, is to take over as Cora – Miss July in Calendar Girls at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre.



She will replace Julie Goodyear in the play, beginning performances Dec. 1, and will continue to play the role for the remainder of the run in the West End through Jan. 9. She will also appear in the play's national tour later in 2010.

Waterman's other TV credits include "Doctors," "Holby City," "The Bill," "New Tricks" (the latter alongside her actor father, Dennis Waterman) and "Just the Two of Us" (winning the second series, singing with Marti Pellow). On stage, her credits include The Vagina Monologues, Tom, Dick and Harry and Soap at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough.

She joins a cast that also comprises Kelly Brook, Janie Dee, Helen Lederer, Rosalind Knight, Debbie Chazen, Arabella Weir, Jan Leeming and Carl Prekopp.
