Kevin Kline Award winner Tolivar (Curtains, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Giant) stars as Judy Haynes with Marino (Hairspray, Godspell, Grease) as Bob Wallace, with New Orleans veteran actors Rich Arnold as Phil Davis and Ashley Lemmler as Betty Haynes.
Principal casting also features Dane Rhodes (General Waverly), Heidi Junius (Martha), Rachel Laufer (Susan), Nick Thompson (Ralph), Jaune Buisson (Rhoda), Butch Caire (Ezekiel) and Kenneth Thompson (Mike).
The White Christmas ensemble includes Danielle Scheib, Carrie Daigle, Christina Tichenor, Jill Marie Kenyon, Alexis Bruza, Marissa Cuevas, James St. Juniors, Cliff Thompson, Ken Goode, Daniel Rigamer, Jermaine Keelen and Susan Barrett Smith.
White Christmas will have choreography by Jaune Buisson, costumes by Linda Fried, set design by Moriah Curley-Clay and Isabel A. Curley-Clay, lighting design by Jonathan Foucheaux and sound design by Cliff Stromeyer. Donna Clavijo is vocal director.
White Christmas includes the Berlin songs "Snow," "Sisters," "Blue Skies," "I Love a Piano," "Count Your Blessings" and the title song. The musical follows two army veterans turned vaudevillian hoofers who team with a pair of songbird sisters to save a Vermont inn run by a retired army general.
The 2004 stage adaptation – with a book by David Ives and Paul Blake – premiered in San Francisco. With direction by Walter Bobbie and choreography by Randy Skinner, the premiere spawned several sit-down productions across the U.S. and recently returned to Broadway for the second year in a row at the Marriot Marquis Theatre.
Le Petit, a New Orleans theatre staple for almost 100 years, recently played host to the premiere engagement of the Broadway-aimed musical White Noise.
