Night Devine: An Audience with Loretta Devine to Play Upright Cabaret

Loretta Devine, who was part of the original Broadway cast of Dreamgirls, will debut a new solo show next month at the Upright Cabaret in California.

Entitled Night Devine: An Audience with Loretta Devine, performance dates are Dec. 4-5 at 9 PM and Dec. 6 at 8 PM.

"This unforgettable evening of original, standard and contemporary songs," according to press notes, "will lead you on a journey through the seasons of love. Find a love. Bring a love. Fall in love Devine!"

Loretta Devine has also been seen on Broadway in Hair, A Broadway Musical, Comin' Uptown and Big Deal. Among her more recent screen credits are "Eli Stone," "Boston Public," "Boston Legal" and "Ally McBeal."
