Highlights From David Henry Hwang's Golden Child

David Henry Hwang’s 1997 Obie Award-winning and Tony-nominated Golden Child, drawing on the playwright's own family history, returns to New York City in a new production by Signature Theatre Company. The tale of a Chinese businessman who returns home after working three years abroad, prompting a dangerous power struggle in his polygamous family, is directed by Leigh Silverman as part of Signature's Residency One: David Henry Hwang Series. Greg Watanabe stars alongside Jennifer Lim of Broadway's Chinglish and Tony Award nominee Julyana Soelistyo of Off-Broadway's The Glorious Ones. Performances plays through Dec. 16 at Off-Broadway's Pershing Square Signature Center. For more, click here.
