PLAYBILL EXCLUSIVE: A Sneak Peek at Bernadette Peters in "Coming Up Roses"

Tony winner Bernadette Peters stars in the new indie drama from writer-director Lisa Albright, "Coming Up Roses." Saddled with financial woes and struggling through life in a dangerous neighborhood, washed-up actress Diane (Peters) refuses to let her depression get the best of her. In this exclusive sneak peek at the film, Diane, out of work and reluctant to take on new prospects, attempts to inspire her frustrated daughter Alice (Rachel Brosnahan) with Man of La Mancha's "The Impossible Dream." The film has a Nov. 9 New York City premiere. For more information, click here. For a Diva Talk with Peters, who discusses the film, "Smash" and more, click here.
