It was another busy year on The Great White Way. A total of 42 different shows, a mix of plays, musicals, concert evenings and one-person productions, celebrated their opening nights on Broadway in the year 2011. Playbill.com has pictures of each one.

The year started out with the Roundabout staging of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, opening Jan. 13, and ended with the launch of Lysistrata Jones on Dec. 14.

Playbill.com takes a look back at all 42 opening nights.
