Cat in the Hat, The
National Theatre (Cottesloe)

The Cat In The Hat is a new adaptation of Dr Seuss's colourful picture book, aiming to be an engaging first experience of theatre for children aged three to six. The story centres on Sally and her brother, who get a visit from a cat in a red and white striped hat. From the moment he appears round the door they know the cat in the hat will be the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly fun to play with, and he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure. But what will mum find when she gets home?
