ROBERT LONGBOTTOM
ROBERT LONGBOTTOM made his Broadway debut as director/choreographer on the original musical Side Show, which earned four Tony Award nominations including Best Musical. Other Broadway credits include a revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song. That production earned Mr. Longbottom a Tony Award nomination for his choreography as well as Astaire and OCC nominations. Other credits include the Broadway musical The Scarlet Pimpernel, the Off-Broadway hit Pageant, Disney’s On the Record and The Radio City Music HallChristmas Spectacular. At the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, he directed the wartime classic Mister Roberts and most recently returned to direct and choreograph the musical Carnival! Robert recently directed Hay Fever for the Old Globe Theatre. Upcoming projects include a new national tour of Dreamgirls following the premiere at the Apollo Theater in Harlem this November.
