MIC POOL
MIC POOL has been a sound designer for more than 30 years and is currently director of creative technology at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. He won a Tony Award for The 39 Steps and was nominated for both the Lucille Lortel and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Sound Design 2001 for the New York production of The Unexpected Man. Other work in New York includes Art, Shockheaded Peter and Royal Shakespeare Company seasons. Mic was nominated for a 2007 Laurence Olivier Award for The 39 Steps. Recent London credits includeBad Girls The Musical, The Hound of the Baskervillesand the video design for Der Ring des Nibelungen for the Royal Opera Covent Garden.
