Winner of three Tony Awards (six Tony nominations), two Grammy Awards, an Emmy, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein Awards. Member of the Theatre Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. His book, Put on a Happy Face, is in its fourth printing.
