Television: “The Johnny Carson Show,” “The Dick Cavett Show” (head writer and producer). His first venture into musical theatre, Jersey Boys, won an Olivier and four Tony Awards including Best Musical. In addition to his film, theatre and television work, Mr. Brickman has been published in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Playboy and other periodicals and is the 2006 recipient of the Writers Guild of America Ian McClellan Hunter Award for lifetime achievement in writing. He lives and works in New York and hopes to die in his bed, surrounded by his loving family and their accountants.
